Welcome to the Lyde Green Neighbourhood Watch web site.

What is a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme?

The aim of a NHW is to improve police/community liaison by providing effective communications through Neighbourhood Watch messaging systems which warn Coordinators of local crime trends, which they can disseminate to their scheme members, and by members informing the police of incidents when they occur.
These messages will be posted on this site for you to view, and provide relevant contact information should you have information.

What Do You Do in a Neighbourhood Watch?

You can be extra eyes and ears to report crime and help your neighbours. NHW members can meet their neighbours, learn how to make their homes more secure, watch out for each other and the neighbourhood, and report activity that raises suspicions to the police.

What Is This Site For?

This site aims to communicate all relevant information regarding local crime reports, and any NHW issues/news that crops up. We will also provide crime prevention tips to help you keep secure, and announce any meeting dates or events that you may like to attend. We'll also keep you abreast of any activities, we, as your local NHW coordinators, are doing.
